We manufacture rubber sheet in a variety of thicknesses and in a variety of rubbers. The rubber is made in different elasticity, hardness and strength. We can ply black rubber to white rubber and produce in other colours although most commonly we produce natural honey coloured rubber sheet from which our products are fabricated.
For the common shapes and sizes we use cutters but still quite frequently hand make items. If a particular rubber is required then it takes us 24 hours to produce that rubber, a matter of minutes to produce the shape required and approximately one hour to cure it. This can mean that the turn around time on a special product can be as short as 2 days although in general we would prefer at least twice that time as it will depend on what other products are going through the factory at that time and the size and quantity of the product required. Designing new products will naturally take longer.
We also mould rubber including flanges used with ostomy bags, or contraceptive flat spring diaphragms.
We manufacture three dimensional shapes from our sheet rubber.
We are also able to radio frequency weld rubber which enables us to produce very low profile bags and we process butyl rubber a material less permeable to odour than natural rubber.
